-------Viridian City is the home of Giovanni who is the the Gym Leader of the City. Though this is the first City with a Gym that the trainer enters, this Gym is actually the last one that the trainer will face to recieve their 8th Gym badge. This city can bring the trainer to several areas, through the West exit, the trainer will be put on Route 22 on their way to either Johto or the Indigo Plateau. Through the North exit, the trainer will be on their way to Pewter City by following Route 2. The South exit bring the trainer on Route 1 on their way to Pallet Town.
