Do you have any tips on how to decide which version of each generation I should play?
I want to play them in order, which means starting either with Pokemon Red or Blue (obviously I'm not going to play both since nearly everything is the same except for a few Pokemon right?).
But which one should I play? :O
Same counts for all the other generations (Except Yellow, Crystal, Emerald and Platinum since they only have one version of the game).

    Gold or Silver?
    Ruby or Sapphire?
    FireRed or LeafGreen?
    Diamond or Pearl?
    HeartGold or SoulSilver?

I seemed to like those the most not counting the compiled games like:
    Yellow
    Crystal
    Emerald
    Platinum

I'd quickly like to place this and this here, a GBA and GBC emulator for Android only.

I use them both and they're excellent. Not sure if the one posted here is better, but it's good to have choice all the same.

VBA is by far the best GB emulator ever , but @Doc you should've given out this version , it supports lan and online link-up http://www.vbalink.info/download-gba-emulator.htm
