In the universe there have been great minds devoted to aiding trainers in their quests. From the creators of the pokeball and the pokedex, to the creators of the pc storage systems and dream link. One scientist, located in a locked part of silph co. only accessible by a key card, has invented a great invention, and will need your help(assuming that this gets approved.)

Talk about some experiment that will revolutionize battling floats through Silph co., but when you ask about it, the ones that work there keep mum. That is, except for a crooked security guard that will sell you a all access pass to the lab for an insane amount of money, assuming your reputation(trainer level) is high enough.

As you walk in there is a huge machine with two glass containers for pokeballs to be placed.

This machine is the gene splicer. Gene splicing is a harmless way to switch a multitude of different things such as ivs, natures, and moves(assuming the pokemon can learn that move through, level up, tm, breeding, or move tutor) As you use the machine, you get better at it, and can splice different abilities, and the scientists get the information they need to reduce the cooldown time between splices. With a seperate level called Splicing level, this is how it works.

Splicing level 0
-can only splice natures
-cooldown time is 1 in game day.

splicing level 15
Can now splice moves
cooldown time is 18 in game hours

Splicing level 30
Can now splice Ivs
Cooldown time is 12 in game hours

Splicing level 50
Can splice Evs(1 stat)
Cooldown time is 6 hours

Splicing level 60
Cooldown time is 5 hours

Splicing level 70
Cooldown time is 4 hours

Splicing level 80

Cooldown time is 3 hours

Splicing level 90
Cooldown time is 2 hours

Splicing level 95
Cooldown time is 1 hour

Splicing level 100
Can splice from any pc in the game instead of having to go to Silph. Co.
No cooldown time

For example, you have a ghastly with a adamant nature and a scizor with a modest nature.

Ghastly switches to modest, scizor switches to adamant.

Moves aren't switched, but copied. To copy, the pokemon you want to give the move must have a blank space in moves, and can only learn it if the pokemon can learn the move in some way. breed, tutor, etc.

Can't use your starter because of bad ev training or Ivs? no more, Splice a pokemon with 0 evs to reset them in the destined pkmn, and breed pokemon with good Ivs and splice to it. Only one stat can be spliced at a time, so Evs and Ivs will be more efficent, but take longer to splice.

*Splicing does no harm to either pokemon, but some guilds might not allow it.

**if a pokemon is spliced there is a G in blue next to where the shiny symbol is.

***pokerus, when implented, can be spliced

****shininess cannot be spliced

Could there be a second channel added to the chat in the game? One for the more experienced members because (this is going to sound mean) the constant complaining about bugs from the new members is getting annoying.

Every day there are 2 or 3 new people who complain about the low exp and the walking glitch and that's just when I'm on. Usually all these questions can be answered on the forums, but they cant be bothered to read.

So to stop me and some others from raging, could a second channel be added? By the time the new folk can figure out how to change chat channels, they would have been here long enough not to ask stupid questions.

I know this sounds harsh, but I don't think I'm the only thinking about this. :L

I know there is a top 10 list on the website, but are there plans to make the "View all" link and the "Ranking" page work? I'm just curious to see where everyone is at. Having the rank show in-game, in the place where your fishing lvl and trainer lvl are shown, would also be cool.
